have you considered giving your manatsu darker hair? i like dark-skinned manatsu but if you look at the concept art sheets where she has melanin she also has brown hair because a) it's a natural hair color on brown people and b) fits better aesthetically. i feel like toei set a bad example for this by making elena's hair blindingly blonde. if you're not brown yourself and your goal is to create representation it would resonate a lot better with your brown audience!

Hey thanks for the message! I was wondering if you could give some more clarification over which manatsu you're refering to? cause if you're talking about laura quest manatsu her hair is supposed to be dyed blonde to evoke her cure summer form. (with brownish orange roots) BUT if you're talking about her normal orangish hair color this is something I do think I wanna change going forward absolutely, but I'm not sure I can change for laura quest only because it would involve remaking A LOT of assets and editing a fair bit of the game. Of cource I'll see what I can do but it might have to be something I do more for non LQ art for now. Hope that makes sense!

No need to apolgize I love getting questions like this! Remedy has a special connection with the study of physical cosmology it really goes back to when they were a kid and their mother would read books about astronomy to her. However even now she's still very interested in the subject. (might add an image here later)
